PEI Greens promise Basic Income
Congratulations to leader Peter Bevan-Baker and the Green Party of Prince Edward Island. Following in the great tradition of Greens in many parts of the world, the Prince Edward Island Green Party is supporting basic income among other measures to transform the economy and eliminate poverty.
Their policy platform for "Real Change" includes a promise of a commission to establish a guaranteed basic income.
